About Mrs. Ewing:

My special story:

 

Mrs. Ewing is from Fayetteville, Georgia and plays the Bb clarinet, bass clarinet, and piano.  She received the Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Georgia State University in 2011.  As an undergrad at Georgia State, Mrs. Ewing was a staff member and woodwind coach for the Metropolitan Atlanta Youth Wind Ensemble, Vice President of Georgia State University’s CMENC chapter, and assisted at Georgia State University’s All State Clinic and Summer Music Camp.  Mrs. Ewing’s awards consisted of the Georgia State University Scholar, Georgia State Music Foundation Scholarship, and the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra Competition Scholarship.  Mrs. Ewing has worked at various high school music camps including Windsor Forest High School, Sequoyah High School, Mill Creek High School, and Archer High School.  Mrs. Ewing previously taught General Music at Windsor Forest Elementary and has a clarinet studio with students who have participated in middle and high school district and all state honor bands. Mrs. Ewing loves working at Moreland Elementary and is excited to see students grow!
