4th and 5th grade students click on each link to check out the recorder fingering chart, helpful reminders, and music to help you outside of class!

The fingering chart for recorders is a great way to review your notes that you have learned in class OR to get ahead!

This piece of music is a great place to start! Follow these steps:

1.) Clap and count the rhythms in the piece

2.) Say the note names while fingering along

3.) Play through the piece

Au Clair De La Lune is one of Mrs. Ewing's favorite pieces!  The translation is "By the Light of the Moon."

Use this piece to help with skips between the notes C and A.

Want to practice with a friend? Try a duet! One student should play number 5 and the second person should play 5a.  Happy practicing!

Lightly Row is our general music classes longest piece!  It also has the new note D in it.  Make sure to review your fingering chart!

In this piece there is a new note and it is low d!  Refer to your fingering chart before playing.

This piece has eighth notes and half rest.  Review how to count your rhythms in the additional information page!
